I believe helping children fall in love with reading is one of the greatest gifts we can give them. Books open doors to extraordinary worlds, spark curious minds and show children that stories can be funny, thoughtful, surprising - and sometimes just a little bit gross. Reading helps children grow their imaginations, build confidence with language and discover new ideas, feelings and perspectives. Most importantly, it gives them a love of stories and learning that can stay with them for life.
